My other pleasure is traveling towards East
I am fond of all the novels and historical texts regarding the Silk Road and its mysteries, religions, lore and population
I've traveled through northern Pakistan, western China, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia.
I have admired many interesting and marvelous towns and villages like Samarqand, Bukhara, Peshawar, Isfahan, Yazd among others
As an amateur photographer I had the honor of having my work recognized in:
- Hasselblad Austrian Super Circuit (Gold medal - 2001)
- The Mediterranean Foundation for Art Biennale of Photography (2002)
- The Spider Awards (Nominees in Photojournalism and Fine Art 2006)
